Patterson sets new USJGT 36-hole Scoring Record at 10-under with Win at McCabe

Another of my students had a good start to the season.  Brett Patterson of McMinnville, TN set a new 36 hole scoring record in a US Junior Golf Tour event.  He shot 64-66 on the par 70 McCabe golf course for -10 and a seven shot victory.

Brett has a very solid, repeating golf swing.  We fine-tuned the swing a little and spent a lot of time on how to practice short game in a competitive mode.

The following video shows the three drills we used for his putting speed control.

Brett's dedication to the game is awesome to witness. I see him EVERYTIME I go to Willowbrook. He is in the same part of the driving range with an intense and very solid practice routine. I look forward to continue following his career for many years. Good Luck Brett and congrats on the record at McCabe!
