close call, but I vote for #2. good luck.

This is the one! Good luck with the contest.

My vote is for #2.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 6:50 PM by Eric Brown
Both videos are great but I vote for #2

Thanks
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 6:51 PM by Paul
I think this is the better video. I believe that consistency is the most important element to feeling better about your golf game and this video tells you how to go about improving your consistency.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 6:57 PM by Don Forester
Both are very good Charlie. I vote for #2 because it's easier to relate to by the average golfer. #1 is really more technical, I know because you taught me about the bowed wrist in person.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 7:30 PM by Hugh Pitts
I like the 2nd video the best. I am one of the people looking for consistency.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 7:36 PM by Marvin Ralston
I like this video best. Good luck.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 7:41 PM by James Green
This is for Video # 2. While this video needs some work, I like this one over # 1 because it is fresh and shows some creative thinking. Tighten this up some and shorten the length because you wonder a little and it becomes wordy. I'm observing you getting too quick at the end and leaving out, in your summary, your words about clubface awareness, which I felt was a real strength of the lesson. You're a good teacher and what you've done here applies nicely, for the most part, to most levels of players. Something to be careful w/ is understanding who your audience is. Not everyone watching is a beginner and so you must have something for different levels; either that or have separate shows for beginners, intermediates and better players. Just a thought. TGW hasn't hit on that idea yet and it's holding them back, I think. Good luck.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 7:57 PM by Ken Foley
Yes for Video #2. Club face is more important than path and I like you're focus on the awareness. Also, the drill with the speed really works wonders. If every golfer could really spend a lot of time working up to their ideal speed it would help them. For me it's 60% as well...becuase I've gone through the drill. 100% speed for me is 115 mph and interestingly enough 60% is about 105 mph...
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:07 PM by Dennis Legg
very good, one of many problems in golf is consistency
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:17 PM by Mike
I vote for video number 2 because that is the area of my game that is the most lacking. I start out hitting the ball reasonably well, and by the time I've reached the 11th or 12th hole, I begin to totally lose the long and short game. Could sure use some advise.

Thanks!!
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:23 PM by Gary
Yes for Video #2. Consistency improvement should improve your game and score.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:25 PM by Alan Horner
I also like number 2 better. I feel that both are too long. As a person who does a lot of "tip shopping" if I see a tip is going to run over 3:30, I think twice before viewing.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:29 PM by Dan
My vote is for number two fresh material. Consistency is key.

If you want to tighten up video just take out the teeing up of the golf balls.

Good Luck
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:30 PM by Sterling J. Parks
I like them both but, being a beginner, I like video #2 because it helps to address the hook and slice issue that plague people like me.
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:32 PM by Walt
#2 is my pick. good luck Charlie
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:34 PM by Joe McKelvey
VERY INSTRUCTIVE
#1 STILL HAS MY VOTE WITH #2 A CLOSE SECOND
BEST OF LUCK CHARLIE
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 8:38 PM by LLOYD GREIG
Liked video #2. Both videos were good but a litle too long and it became confusing. Good luck!
Posted @ Monday, September 06, 2010 9:03 PM by Candy R.
#2 works well for me, it freshens the thoughts you gave me at your short game school. By the way, I appreciate the fact that you took me to your school when my schedule was limited and you held the school with me being the only student..Thanks Charlie

I think both videos are good, but No 2 has the edge on freshness and clarity.

Good luck.

video #2 is best. Mental approach, rhythm, and control of clubface are excellent themes to practice. Emphasis on optimizing one's own golfswing is the unique approach.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 6:38 AM by patyp
Charlie, I like the 2nd video. I think the D.Love swing speed drill is a big key for most guys who try to kill the ball. All 3 points are very helpful. I would also suggest that you have a 2nd camera show the results of the shots too. Good luck, I'll be watching for you on the G-Channel. Best, Dan

Charlie, I like video #2 much better. You might think about reshuffling the order of the 3 points to "grab" the viewer's full attention quicker.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 8:23 AM by Bill Burke
#2 video. Perhaps shorten but overall very good
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 8:46 AM by Jerry D West
Charlie,

Both have good information but I believe #2 would represent your teaching skills better. Good luck! Jere
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 10:06 AM by Jere
Both videos are excellent but I vote yes for #2. I have been working on several of the items in #1 to try to become more consistent so I was interested to see the emphasis in #2 on consistency. I like the pre-swing mental routine, we don't hear that enough.

Good luck in the contest.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 10:53 AM by Bill Haake
How many times have we heard, "I hit it great on the range and then I went to the golf course and stunk it up"? Or why do some of players consistently perform better in tournaments than they do on a Sat. morning with the guys? It is this video that captures the two key elements, Mindset and Rhythm/Flow. Video one is good but #2 is more universally applicable to players of all levels. Thanks for all you do, Charlie.

Hey Charlie,

I like number 2 the best. I think it is very important for ALL skill levels to have and develope a pre-shot routine and or mental strategy. Rhythm and Tempo are also great points to make when teaching all skill levels. Understanding club face is also very critical if you are trying to become more consistant. You have to know you MISS and play for it to become more consistant. I hope you do Great on the Golf Channel

GOOD LUCK

Consistency is the #1 plea for help! Both videos are good, but I think you can do GREAT!This video is too Old school...right idea, yet add some more graphics and use more metaphors so that students can "get it"... give us your NEW RULES OF GOLF INSTRUCTION so that you are set apart from the typical golf lesson. Take a piece from your amazing book "No, You're Not Lifting Your Head"

God Bless!

I liked number 2, it was the most meaninfull for my game. Good Luck.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 12:32 PM by Bob LaClaire
BOTH VIDEO'S ARE GOOD, BUT #2 FOCUS' ON SOMETHING I REALLY NEED, CONSISTENCY!
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 12:38 PM by JOEL
My vote is for video #2. Good luck Charlie. You are a great teacher!

Good Luck!!

Both good Charlie, but I vote for number two, as consistency is the number one issue for most of us.

#2 is the one I vote for, Good Luck

I vote for video # 2. Consistency is the key to enjoying the game and you touch on some important points. I hope you make the finals and I see you on the Golf Channel soon. Best of Luck!!

Both are excellent, my vote is for #2.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 5:08 PM by David Groff
Hi Charlie,
From the aspect of being a more advanced golfer and aspiring Charlie king instructor. I would vote for the #2 video. You brought in alot of items that are not talked about very often. I feel that Pre-swing routine and swing tempo are so important for the success of any golfer. These will once they have a grasp on them will keep them coming back for lessons and playing more golf.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 6:37 PM by Timothy Plumley
I like them both, but #2 wins out for me.

Good luck!
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 6:37 PM by Ray Valley
Both are great. #2 by a hair. The flow, the freshness and the clarity. Good Luck Charlie. One of your new rules golf instuctors.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 7:38 PM by George Courville
Yes for video 2.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 8:04 PM by Jerry
See it...Feel it...Do it!
Video #2 is my pick. I can relate to the pre-shot routine in your lesson and more golfers need to make this a part of their golf game. Also, I love the 10 - 20 - 30% golf drill. Whenever I am having a problem with my long game, I come back to this drill and find that I, too, am best at 60 percent. Good luck!
Posted @ Tuesday, September 07, 2010 8:19 PM by Dana Deshaw-Tucich
I liked them both, but will go with #2. I watched Charlie hit at 10% and could see he wasn't in as good a rhythm(all arms -low shot to the left). I thought he would say 80-85% is most ideal-60% was a surprise and it makes me want to see for myself. I'm voting for #2, but liked them both. Consistency is "King". Good luck!

I think both are good, but I feel the one concerning consistency will be of more interest to most golfers. Good job!
Posted @ Wednesday, September 08, 2010 10:41 AM by Bill Malin
I vote for #2...It addresses 3 areas in a short video which can help all levels of golfers. You can't really get too specific in a short video, but you can get the idea very well here and have something to try yourself. Thanks and good luck.
Posted @ Wednesday, September 08, 2010 1:51 PM by Gene
I like both video's, but feel the second one is more helpful for a high handicapper like myself.
Posted @ Wednesday, September 08, 2010 3:48 PM by JOHN
Well, Charlie, it looks so far that it's almost unanimous for #2.....and count me in as well. To me it's not so much the content. I like on both that you have the "three things" idea, and I think that the tips are equally useful on each. However, I think you look more relaxed and less rushed on video #2.
Posted @ Wednesday, September 08, 2010 5:17 PM by Julie von Haam
I think that this one gels the concepts that help "take it to the course", which, ultimately, is what all of us want to do.

Good luck

Both are great ... I'll vote for #2
Posted @ Thursday, September 09, 2010 8:37 AM by Garry Grider
Both videos well done. #2 was more beneficial as to where my game is presently. Very good teacher, best wishes.

both are good,but I like #2.
Posted @ Thursday, September 09, 2010 9:01 PM by charaspon Thavarasook
Both were good but included too much information (wouldn't work well for a lesson). Liked #2 better because it addressed the mental part of the game which is generally neglected.
Posted @ Tuesday, September 14, 2010 4:55 PM by Richard Wade
I like both videos and will practice both. Gotta go with no. 2. Good luck
Posted @ Thursday, September 16, 2010 7:17 AM by Ray
#2 is more helpful
Posted @ Monday, September 20, 2010 6:07 PM by Jrigsby
While the Big Three helps me, being consistent really does it for me.

I vote for #2
Posted @ Wednesday, September 22, 2010 2:51 PM by Frank Coyle
Great video. I vote for #2. This was the most helpful lesson for me. Charlie is a great instructor and I would recommend him to anyone that truly wants to improve.
Posted @ Sunday, September 26, 2010 8:48 AM by Gary Evans
Hi Charlei:

I liked the 2nd video better because you did a better job of describing and detailing the drills. I felt the 1st video did a good job describing the Line Drill but the other 2 drills were not very specific.

Good luck in the contest.
